Business Development Representative
Primary function of this position is to obtain new business opportunities and close sales. You will be provided qualified leads on a weekly basis and will be expected to spend 80% of your time effectively communicating our services to human resources professionals, hiring managers and recruiters over the telephone. Your role will be to act as first contact to new prospects and “close” sales opportunities by directly obtaining orders or securing appointments for on-site sales presentations. This position is available at our Toronto office.
What You Will Do
- Calling prospects to promote our Recruitment Advertising and Candidate Reach programs
- Communicating with human resources professionals, recruiters and hiring mangers to identify and qualify their needs
- Generating new leads through research, prospecting and networking over the phone
- Establishing profitable relationships with prospects
- Securing meetings between prospects and Sales Managers
- Maintaining communication and customer follow-up log
- Compiling and submiting weekly activity reports
- Providing assistance to the Sales Team as required
What You Will Bring
- No experience required, but you must be comfortable and assertive in cold calling and have a strong desire to drive sales and close new business over the telephone
- Post-secondary education
- A positive, up-beat attitude
- Effective telephone and communication skills are a must
- Computer, Windows, Internet, email skills are assets

- Participate in all promotional activities, including trade shows, job fairs, exhibitions and on-campus career fairs
- Assist in the recruitment and training of new staff

What You Will Bring
- Degree with concentration in: Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Industrial Relations, New Age Marketing or Mass Communications
- Effective communication skills – verbal and written
- Excellent telephone skills are a must

We are looking for a high energy and enthustic individual who can develop and maintain strategic alliances with universities and other educational institutions across Canada.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain alliances with universities, colleges and other educational institutions across Canada
- Coordinate and manage activities for career fairs, info days and other special events
- Strengthen brand awareness at campus-level by actively promoting the Portal
- Initiate and foster partnerships with student associations and other bodies
- Produce media kits for campus newspapers and radio stations
What You Will Bring
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Relations, New Age Marketing or Mass Communications.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in recruitment, human resources and career planning
- Involvement in student bodies/associations or experience in advocacy relating to career/employment issues will be a definite asset
- Strong presentational skills together with computer knowledge a must

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team of developers focused on creating the next phase of HireAnewGrad.com and other portals.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate implementation of new content by working across the entire production team on a daily basis and working specifically with other business and sales personnel and web developers
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of Hire A New Grad, Inc.’s suite of web portals
- Build and implement functions to optimize site usability and automate content delivery
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with the management and business teams to develop new concepts, content and promotional activities
What You Will Bring
- Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Information Technology or certificate in Internet Security and Database Development
- Previous experience in ASP, ASP.NET, SQL & Flash are an asset.
